Salma Almemari

My name is Salma Almemari, and I am from the United Arab Emirates. I would like to introduce my work as an MSc Medical Visualisation and Anatomy student at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow School of Arts. Through my work and collaboration with Dubai police, I was able to express my admiration and love for forensic Medicine. I originally signed up for the degree with the hope of learning and creating applications and models that would positively impact forensic medicine. It is imperative for Salma to represent the country and Emirati women who have impacted many challenging fields. Dubai police have shown absolute support, especially as I’m the first Emirati woman to pursue a Master’s in Medical visualization and Anatomy. This course exposed me to many tools and knowledge I could implement in my work.
